What does Salt Water Licks mean?

Our doggie bakery is at the beach. So we thought it wold be cute to name it Salt Water Licks (think Ocean Kisses)  everyone asks, we probably should have named it Ocean Kisses!

Do you use salt in your treats?

No we don’t! We use only natural, healthy ingredients. No salt. No sugar. No artificial flavors or sweeteners.

Some of your treats appear to have chocolate in them-isn’t chocolate bad for dogs?

We use Carob-never chocolate.  Carob has no relation to chocolate and is actually really good for dogs (and people too!).  It is naturally sweet, low in fat, high in protein. Carob has no caffeine ro cocoa and has been cultivated for over 2000 years.  BTW chocolate is very bad for dogs and can even kill them. So if your dog begs for chocolate give them carob instead!
